For the P1 2018 new years eve party, we did a projecting mapping with an 10.000 Ansi Lumen projector on the upper part of the entrance on „Haus der Kunst“. After sketching each stone in 3D, we mapped the content on each stone which gave us the possibility to let the facade collapse and rebuild. For example, optical illusions of 3 dimensional rooms where projected to give the audiance a whole new experiance of the visual appearance of the old building. But not only typical 3d mapping content were used for this production. We brought old nightlife pictures of the iconic nightclub scene on the walls to live. Beside the video mapping, there were also a new years eve show part.  No one else, as the well known Simon Gerber aka „der Typ mit dem Bart“ started the time code show of the countdown, which peaked at 12 o´clock into a visual firework accompanied with a real firework.
